December Reading Challenge Recap
We made it! Twelve months of reading challenges…and on my part, twelve months of just squeaking in under the wire to meet them. I think it must show I have a bit of rebellious streak that I can’t even stick to the topics on my own challenge… this month I was like “Christmas book-Smishmas book. Let’s read all the things!”
I attempted a couple of cozy Christmas reads, but none of them really took! All this time I thought maybe I just wasn’t coming across any Christmas books but it turns out I just don’t like them. Who knew? Fortunately, most of the books below involved holiday celebrations, particularly the last two, so it wasn’t a total challenge fail…
Here’s what I read this month:
- The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell by Robert Dugoni
- Knox by Susan May Warren
- Tate by Susan May Warren
- Becoming Mrs. Lewis by Patti Callahan
- Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe by Heather Webber
With that, 2019 is a wrap! Happy Holidays and see you next year… with some new changes to the blog that you are all hopefully going to like!
