#2MinBookReview – Before the Fall by Noah Hawley

So, you guys know I love you, because I dragged my jet-lagged self in front of a camera when I’m really still only half-coherent. Wouldn’t you know it, there was something wrong with the file that wouldn’t let it be opened in my editing software, so the quality is worse than usual. Sorry, guys.

 
As an addendum, the author is a TV writer, which I think explains why the characters felt like they were lacking some dimension. In film and television, so much is added by the actor. Hawley seems to write characters as bare sketches, but here he doesn’t have the benefit of a person to give them life on screen.
